What the heck is ORaaS?

ORaaS (Orekit-as-a-Service) is a service made to access Orekit powerful functionalities directly from your application by using the ORaaS REST API. By using ORaaS, you do not need to incorporate Orekit in your application. For example, if you are developing in Go, you would just call ORaaS services benefiting from the REST API. By using ORaaS, all computations made by Orekit are made on ORaaS servers.

Is ORaaS free?

ORaaS is currently totally free.

How do I provide feedback on ORaaS?

Should you have any comments, questions or suggestions concerning ORaaS (the Website, the REST API, etc.), please contact us by e-mail at.

Will ORaaS remain free in the future?

Current release of ORaaS is free, but CS GROUP (owner of this service) is building a roadmap to incorporate new services in ORaaS. These new services might require fees.

Is CS GROUP responsible for results provided by ORaaS REST API?

CS GROUP makes everything possible to provide a validated and reliable service, but should not be kept responsible for any non-adapted or improper use of results provided by ORaaS.

Users' responsibility using ORaaS

The use of ORaaS is fully under users’ sole responsibility. Therefore, CS GROUP expects from users of its service to use it in a reasonable manner (please check our Terms of Service for more details).
